Star Signs

It is imperative to understand first the difference between astrology and astronomy and the association of star signs with the two fields. Astronomy is a scientific study of the objects in the universe including stars and constellations in particular; while astrology is a pseudo-science, a superstition that studies sun, moon, planets, stars and its influences on human personalities and events. Star signs are more famous and closely associated with astrology. In astrology, star signs are also referred to as sun signs depicting as zodiac signs wherein it gives vision to a particular personality and events depending on the date, place and time of a person’s birth. In newspapers and magazines the term star signs are used to suggest a horoscope where it describes a person’s traits and future based from the stars and planetary alignment and a person’s date of birth.
